The Forward 25 Project Experience Series provides the opportunity for young people to gain a valuable set of work related skills and experience and working with organisations with a local or global base whilst also building up their portfolio.
How?
We assess the skills and talents that need further development, then we set to work to ensure that we have a project that will engage and bring out the best in everyone whilst delivering on project outcomes. We have been successfully working with school work experience programmes and with unemployed young people in work placements and with organisations who provide great opportunities.
When providing work-related learning for young people aged between 14 and 25 years old, each project is assessed for suitability in terms of age range and level of skill and knowledge required to gain the most out of participating in this series.
Why?
Simply because practice makes perfect. Our ethos is to help young people gain real project experience whilst looking for work or developing their future career path. By entering the workplace, working to client deadlines and requirements, and needing to stay focused, young people not only gain confidence in the work setting, can see the impact of their own efforts, they gain direction on career paths that are difficult to gain through any other intervention.
